Do Animals Have Souls?

This question has plagued many for ages, but have we always sought the answer? They appear to be made out of the same properties as us and have similar characteristics. They think and breath, wander and play, sleep and eat and so much more. Animals are definitely existing, but are they eternal? 

When animals die will their spirit live on? Nobody can say for sure, but I like to think they are not all that different than us humans. They experience emotions and take on personalities just as we do.

Sure, they look different, but all creatures on planet earth look different. Who are we to say because they look different, that we are above them or that they aren't grateful to be alive each and every day?
